| 55th Annual Conference 3-5 April 2008 ROCKDALE NSW |
An invitation to support and celebrate the success of women in local government. A unique opportunity to promote your organisation, product or service to female councillors and others from across NSW.
The NSW Branch of the Australian Local Government Women’s Association (ALGWA) NSW. Is holding its 55th State Conference on 3rd to 5th April 2008 in Rockdale. The ALGWA was primarily established as a support network for women in local government. Since its inception in 1951, the membership base has broadened over the years to include local government employees and other people who are interested or involved in council. ALGWA is a not for profit organisation, whose activities are coordinated by a voluntary committee.
The conference begins with a Welcome Reception on the Wednesday evening, with the main conference officially opening on Thursday morning with sessions running through to Saturday midday. A Social Dinner will be held on the Thursday evening with Conference Dinner on Friday evening. It is anticipated that between 150 – 200 delegates will be in attending.
The conference will present a unique opportunity for your organisation to promote itself to Local Government elected representatives and officers. Your participation in this wonderful event will demonstrate your support for the role of women in local government and provide your business or organisation with an opportunity to increase its profile to a target audience.
There are a range of sponsorship opportunities that include trade exhibition or static display space.
